GMI suspects that THQ is on the cusp of confirming a turnaround story from the darker days of 2008 when it announced an extensive restructuring and strategy change. A more careful attitude to managing the many licenses from third parties it uses for a large part of its output and an increased emphasis on product quality for titles targeting the core gamer appear to have been effective.
