BSkyB Will Weather the UK's Economic Downturn

The threat of the widely-expected recession to the outlook of pay-TV company British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) is overstated, GMI believes. BSkyB has been largely unaffected by previous economic downturns and is well prepared to reduce the impact on its revenues. Even so, GMI does not think BSkyB will hit its target of 10m subs by 2010.
