Verizon and AT&T are continuing to roll out video services in the US, putting cable companies under pressure; in the third quarter of 2008, GMI estimates Verizon's FiOS covered 22% of Cablevision's homes passed. We believe Cablevision is more exposed than other cable companies and that the strong technology/quality play, combined with a wide VoD offer, will tempt away many of Cablevision's higher spending customers.
